Wings has an installed capacity of manufacturing over 15 million Ignition Coils, 11 million automotive horns, 3 million relays, 3 million noise suppressor caps and 2 million transformers and inductors per annum.
Horns
Addon Engineering was established in 1982 for manufacture of automotive and other horns. The company is dynamic organization with seasoned technocrats to meet demand of OEM and aftermarket requirements of horns.
The company manufacturing horns for car, jeeps, lcvs, tractors, trucks, motorcycles & scooters The controlling rights of addon rest with Wings Automobile Products Private Limited since July 2007. The company’s establishment at Faridabad alongside Wings.
Material Management
Wings manufacturing lines are equipped with CNC Coil Winding Machines from Germany, Japan, Taiwan, Italy and India, Injection Moulding Machines from L&T Demag, Ferromatic Milacron, Multiplas Engineering Taiwan, Huebers High speed Potting Plant with Conveyerised Heating Ovens to match with the Potting Plant, in addition to Huebers fully automatic metering, mixing and vacuum encapsulation plant, Impregnation Plant, Precision High Speed Knuckle Press lines specifically for Automotive Interlocked Lamination with speed upto 600 strokes per minute. Fully Automatic Transfer Press Line for Automotive Draw components, Conveyerised Assembly Line along with in house extensive Tool Room and R&D Lab equipments. The Company has well trained and experienced professionals.
With a team of industry specialist manning the R&D, production and QC department, we can design and develop customized transformers, Line Chokes, Filters and Resonant Inductor etc. using latest computer aided designing and simulation techniques.
The performance of transformers like regulation, efficiency, temperature rise, etc can be predicted with reasonable accuracy using computer aided designing techniques which save a lot of development time and cost.
To achieve optimum performance at minimum cost both copper and aluminum conductors with various type of insulations like super enameled, fibre glass, Nomex covered etc. are used as per application. Different type of laminations mainly CRNO and CRGO in various grades like CRNO from Grade 50A700 (M47) to 35A210 and CRGO from grade 35Z155 (M6) to 23ZH90 are in use.
Laminations of different shapes and sizes like EI, UI, Strips and Mitred are available. Good quality laminations are directly imported from the best suppliers in the world. Complete testing facilities for Raw Material (Copper wire, laminations, insulation)are available in R & D department. We have in house facility for Tool making, Lamination Cutting, Wire Winding, Core Fitting, Vacuum Pressure Impregnation and Curing Ovens, etc.
